Principal's Update

Dear Booksin School Community,

As we navigate through the month of March, I am continually impressed by the dedication and support of our educational partners, including our invested families like you. Your involvement plays a vital role in making Booksin School the amazing institution it is.

At this time of year, as spring parent-teacher conferences are in full effect, I want to remind you of the importance of connecting with your child’s teacher. These conferences provide a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and address any concerns or questions you may have. Your active participation is key to ensuring the success of our students.

Additionally, I’d like to take a moment to highlight an opportunity for involvement within our community for the 2024-2025 school year. We are still in search of a dedicated individual(s) to lead our BESCA Walkathon (WAT) committee. This role is crucial in organizing and overseeing this beloved Booksin tradition, which not only brings families together for fun and memorable experiences but also raises funds for our BESCA-funded programs.

We are seeking someone with event planning or project management experience, or anyone who is passionate about making a positive impact in our school community. Without the Walkathon, many of the enrichment programs that our students love would not be possible.

If you are interested in taking on this important role or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Michelle Pilling at volunteers@mybesca.com. Your support in this endeavor will greatly contribute to the success of our school and the enrichment of our students’ educational experiences.

Thank you for your continued dedication and involvement in making Booksin a thriving community for our students.

Warm regards,

Felicia Tan, Principal
